An Anti-Imperialist Summer Camp was hosted in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Comrades engaged in several hours of study and discussion throughout the duration of the camp. The camp was attended by many youth, from high-schoolers to community college students, to young workers.
The curriculum was based in documents from the Communist Party of Peru, Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist Leninist, and the Communist Party of India (Maoist). These studies deepened participant’s grasp of the international significance of the People’s Wars in Peru, Turkey, India, and the Philippines. As the People’s Wars across the globe showcase the only path to freedom for the working class and oppressed peoples.
In particular, strong solidarity was expressed with the Communist Party of India (Maoist), which has bravely persevered despite the genocidal counter-revolutionary operation Kagar. Alongside the CPI (Maoist), great importance was placed on supporting the Axis of Resistance in the Greater Middle East including Iran, the Palestinian Resistance, Hezbollah of Lebanon, and Ansarallah of Yemen. Solidarity with these struggles are two pressing tasks for anti-imperialists across the globe, especially in the USA.
Studies highlighted the necessity of rejecting bourgeois pessimism and embracing revolutionary optimism to combat revisionism, which thrives on pessimism and lack of faith in the masses.
Banners were hung in solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist), and Axis of Resistance. Flags of the Resistance were raised alongside the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL)’s flag.
Camaraderie was strengthened through physical discipline cultivated through sports and collective singing of revolutionary songs. Exercise and diligent study strengthened comrades revolutionary optimist spirits.
